割爱。The first time I stumbled upon this term is when I was listening to Angela’s song 不想懂得. Should me memory not fail me, I actually consulted my friend from China regarding the meaning of this term. Sadly, I can’t recall what she said exactly; hence I decided to goggle this term. It actually means 放弃心爱的东西. Hmmm, I actually thought it would have a more ‘impactful’ definition to it, oh well, this will do.

How would I rate this movie? To be honest, all I expected from this movie is to be able to address on the issues of breast cancer and maybe give me some insight into the life of a breast cancer patient. I thought that this movie would have little or no impact on me since I have always been through talks given by patients with terminal illnesses. What can this movie do to me? I am sure I have heard more touching stories DIRECTLY from patients. I was so damn wrong.

Amazingly, I was able to relate to this movie from the start to the end. It portrays exactly the phases of life we human go through. Due to my inadequate vocabulary and limited expression, I can’t explain exactly how impactful this movie is to me. One thing is for sure, I shed tears. Not once, but twice. It just seems so close to the heart, sadly I can’t explain why. I can definitely relate to it much better than After Shock. Could it be that Zoe Tay actually reminds me of my aunt that passed away a few years ago? Could it be that I am afraid that I would be in the shoes of those children since the signs of aging are so apparent in both of my parents? When was the last time we told the person we love ‘I love you?’? Corny? (shrugs)

Too fast

Suddenly, the 7th lunar month will come to an end today. It seems like yesterday when I told my friends that the 7th lunar month has arrived and we should not stay out late. Time flies, is it really due to the climate change which somehow accelerated time? Is that possible? Well that’s my sister’s hypothesis, anyone wanna test it? Maybe this can be your PhD thesis chin :p well, provided the world does not end in 2012.

Had immense fun at Melt the world café with Chin, Yu and wt. Well, to be honest, I think that the buffet is rather overrated. It would definitely not be the best buffet in Singapore. Once again, this is just my humble opinion and many may beg to differ. The main courses are not really that fantastic as compared to other places such as Ritz Carlton and Straits Café. Dessert wise, I find that it is not that incredible too. Some reviews that I read state that this buffet has the best dessert to offer… hmmm, really meh?! Well the café that is supposed to melt my heart is not even close to thawing my heart at all. Period.

2 more weeks and I will be heading back to Ireland le. Will definitely miss all the self high moment especially with Yu and ken. Haha. Shall look forward to more of such episodes when I am back again ^^ drawing some form of motivation.

Monga

I have finally watched the movie Monga. Amazingly, the movie is posted onto youtube without being removed due to copyright issues. Really glad that I did not have to purchase the VCD just to look at my eye candy! Yes yes yes, Ethan Ruan is better looking than Mark Chao! Okay, I’m sure many of you would beg to differ! Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder ^^

Initially, I thought it would just be some senseless fighting movie. Well I was right for the first half of the movie. What really touched me most is the ending of the movie. Just because of the ending, I would give this movie a 4 star rating as it really did set me thinking about friendship.

In the last scene, Ethan Ruan thought that Mark Chao was yearning for a hug before he ‘move on’, BUT due to that hug, Ethan Ruan was stabbed by that F****! Lol, and yea because of that scene I hate that guy even more! Ethan Ruan for the win! Alright enough of this lame-ness.

Should we know that trusting someone actually make us really vulnerable, why would people still constantly search and desire for someone that whom we can totally trust and relate to? Isn’t it really ironic? It seems to coincide with the phrase; one will only appreciate what they have till they lose it. Though we know that we should treasure what we have now, are we? Well I am sure many don’t. Sadly, I am one of them too.

Ownage!

After so long of not playing dota, my team won ALL the matches! A few of them were below 17 minutes! wahahha. what can i say? OWNAGE!!!!!

Damn, it's 2 am already. Looks like i have to swim in the afternoon~ sian~ sun sun go away~ rain rain go away~
